CVE-2026-0915 is an information-disclosure vulnerability in GNU C Library (glibc) versions 2.0 through 2.42. The DNS-based network database implementation used by getnetbyaddr and getnetbyaddr_r can pass unmodified stack data in a DNS query when the networks database is configured to use the DNS NSS backend and the queried network value is zero. The affected code path is _nss_dns_getnetbyaddr_r. The leaked data is transmitted to the configured DNS resolver.
