CVE-2026-100715 is an improper link resolution vulnerability in Froxlor through 2.3.10 affecting the root-executed FTP data-deletion cron task, deleteFtpData. When an FTP account is deleted, the task queues deletion of its data directory. The task invokes FileDir::makeCorrectDir() without the $fixed_homedir argument, skipping the symlink component walk, then executes a recursive root-level deletion using string-level path guards. The constructed path includes a trailing slash, allowing a malicious symbolic link placed in the FTP home-directory path after task queuing and before cron execution to redirect deletion to an arbitrary directory tree. Froxlor 2.3.12 corrects the issue.

A critical authenticated symlink-following arbitrary-file-deletion vulnerability in Froxlor's FTP data-deletion cron. It enables root-level recursive deletion of arbitrary directory trees, causing cross-tenant data destruction and host denial of service.
An arbitrary file and directory deletion vulnerability in Froxlor's FTP data-deletion cron task. A writable FTP-home symlink can be followed by a root-executed rm -rf command, allowing an authenticated customer to delete arbitrary directory trees, causing cross-tenant data destruction and host denial of service.
A critical authenticated arbitrary file deletion vulnerability in Froxlor's FTP data-deletion cron task. The task follows attacker-planted symlinks and runs rm -rf as root, enabling deletion of arbitrary directory trees, cross-tenant data destruction, and host denial of service.
