If you can’t patch tonight, do this now.
Until the update is installed, avoid opening untrusted or unsolicited files in Substance 3D Stager. This reduces exposure to the required malicious-file interaction but does not correct the vulnerability. No vulnerability-specific vendor workaround is identified.
Patch, then assume compromise.
Upgrade Adobe Substance 3D Stager to version 3.1.9 or later on Windows and macOS. Install the update through the Creative Cloud desktop application; administrators can deploy the updated application through Adobe Admin Console in managed environments.
