CVE-2026-107929 is a source-interface binding enforcement vulnerability in curl and libcurl versions before 8.23.0. When CURLOPT_INTERFACE or the command-line --interface option uses the documented if!, host!, or ifhost! prefixes, the requested binding is omitted from the connection reuse key. A subsequent transfer requesting a different source interface or address can therefore reuse an existing connection and send traffic from the earlier transfer's source address instead. This can bypass application policies that depend on source-interface separation. The curl project classifies the vulnerability as low severity.

A low-severity curl connection-reuse vulnerability causes interface bindings specified with if!, host!, or ifhost! prefixes to be omitted from the connection reuse key. A subsequent transfer requesting a different source can silently reuse an existing connection and use the previous transfer's source address. The advisory assigns CVSS v3.1 score 3.3 (AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N), indicating low confidentiality impact. Amazon Linux 2023 and Amazon Linux 2027 Preview list fixes as pending; Amazon Linux 2 Core is listed as not affected.
A vulnerability affecting curl packages covered by an Echo security update. The plugin rates it critical, with a CVSS v3 base score of 9.1. Its vector indicates network-based exploitation requiring no privileges or user interaction, with high confidentiality and integrity impacts and no availability impact. The content does not describe the underlying flaw. It states that no known exploits are available.
