CVE-2026-11332 is an argument-injection vulnerability in ansible-core's ansible-galaxy role install command. When processing dependency specifications in a role's metadata, the command improperly neutralizes argument delimiters in the dependency src field. A malicious role author can supply values that are interpreted as Git configuration flags rather than repository arguments, enabling arbitrary code execution on the machine of a user installing the role. The role-installation fix introduces an end-of-options separator; the analogous collection-installation weakness is tracked separately as CVE-2026-16493.
