CVE-2026-11688 is a high-severity vulnerability in the SVG component of Google Chrome caused by an inappropriate implementation / object lifecycle issue. It affects Google Chrome versions prior to 149.0.7827.103. A remote attacker can trigger the flaw by getting a target to open a crafted HTML page containing malicious content that exercises the vulnerable SVG handling path. Successful exploitation allows arbitrary code execution within the Chrome sandbox. Chromium classified the issue as High severity.
