CVE-2026-12473 is a high-severity server-side request forgery vulnerability in OHIF Viewers DICOM affecting the OHIF DICOM Web Viewer Framework prior to version 3.12.0. The issue is caused by two data sources shipped in the default configuration, DICOMWebProxy and DICOMJSON, which fetch an arbitrary URL parameter without validation. In authenticated deployments, OHIF’s global authentication service automatically injects the authenticated user’s OIDC Bearer token into those outbound requests. If an attacker can cause the application to request an attacker-controlled URL, the bearer token is sent to that external server, enabling token theft. The issue does not affect DICOMweb data sources.
