CVE-2026-12530 is an argument-injection vulnerability in the AWS Bedrock AgentCore Python SDK's Code Interpreter install_packages() method. Versions 1.1.3 through 1.6.0 improperly neutralize package-name argument delimiters using incomplete validation before constructing a pip installation command. A remote authenticated attacker who can control package-name input can supply crafted arguments that bypass validation and execute arbitrary commands inside the Code Interpreter sandbox. The flaw can also be used to alter pip behavior, including selecting an attacker-controlled package repository or causing pip to process a requirements-file argument.

A command-injection vulnerability in the Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Python SDK Code Interpreter package-installation helper. A crafted package name could bypass an incomplete character blocklist and execute shell commands within an AgentCore Code Interpreter sandbox, potentially exposing temporary AWS credentials attached through an execution role.
