CVE-2026-12935 is a high-severity memory corruption vulnerability in the RTSP connection tracking module of the TP-Link TL-WR940N v6 router. The flaw is a stack-based buffer overflow in kernel-space processing of RTSP traffic. It is triggered when a LAN client initiates a connection to an attacker-controlled RTSP server and receives a specially crafted RTSP message, causing improper memory handling in the conntrack module. Successful exploitation can crash the device or achieve remote code execution in the context of the affected device, creating a path to full compromise.
