CVE-2026-13131 is a high-severity out-of-bounds read vulnerability in GeoVision GeoWebPlayer, an add-on also referred to as Web Plugin or WS Player and used with GeoVision products such as GV-VMS and GV-Cloud. The flaw resides in the add-on’s websocket server, which accepts commands from localhost. Multiple commands use an index parameter to access internal arrays for operations such as entering critical sections and dispatching function calls, but the index is not properly validated for bounds. In the connectInfo command path, a crafted index can cause out-of-bounds array access, resulting in unintended memory reads and potentially broader memory corruption conditions depending on surrounding code paths and runtime behavior.
