CVE-2026-13321 is an improper DNSSEC validation flaw in the BIND resolver. BIND accepts validly signed NSEC records when the record's Next Domain Name field names a domain outside the signing zone, rather than rejecting the invalid zone relationship. This can cause the resolver to make incorrect DNSSEC validation decisions. Affected versions are BIND 9.11.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.24, 9.21.0 through 9.21.23, BIND Supported Preview Edition 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.24-S1.
