CVE-2026-13780 is a critical insufficient validation of untrusted input vulnerability in ANGLE, the graphics translation layer used by Google Chrome. In Chrome versions prior to 150.0.7871.47, improper handling of attacker-controlled input in ANGLE could be abused after compromise of the renderer process to cross a security boundary and potentially escape Chrome's sandbox. The documented exploitation path involves a crafted HTML page that triggers the vulnerable condition in the graphics/rendering pipeline. The issue affects Chrome on supported desktop platforms and is categorized by Chromium as critical because it can be used as part of a post-renderer-compromise chain to defeat browser isolation protections.
