CVE-2026-14380 is a code-injection vulnerability in Perl DBI versions before 1.650. When a string is assigned to a DBI handle's Profile attribute, DBI parses it into path, package, and argument components, then interpolates the package component into a string eval without validating the package name. An attacker-controlled Profile value can therefore inject and execute arbitrary Perl code in the host process. Untrusted Profile input can originate from the DBI_PROFILE environment variable, direct Profile attribute assignment, or a Profile specification in a DSN driver-attribute clause. Network-exposed DBI::Gofer and DBI::ProxyServer deployments are particularly exposed when client-controlled per-request DSNs reach the Profile attribute.

A Perl DBI code-injection vulnerability affecting versions before 1.650. An attacker who controls input reaching the DBI Profile attribute—through DBI_PROFILE, direct assignment, or a DSN driver-attribute clause—can execute arbitrary Perl code in the host process, including system commands. Network-exposed DBI::Gofer or DBI::ProxyServer deployments may permit remote code execution on the broker host through attacker-controlled per-request DSNs.
