CVE-2026-14526 is an authorization bypass vulnerability in the AI Copilot – Content Generator plugin for WordPress affecting all versions up to and including 1.5.6. The flaw stems from improper verification of whether a requester is authorized to perform privileged workflow actions. On sites where the plugin’s frontend form shortcode or public chatbot is exposed, a nonce used by the application is emitted into publicly accessible JavaScript, making the nonce ineffective as an authorization control. An unauthenticated attacker can use this weakness to save and execute a crafted workflow containing a user-creation action configured to assign administrator privileges, resulting in compromise of the WordPress instance.
