CVE-2026-14668 is a type-confusion vulnerability in PostgreSQL's selectivity estimator for the ctid data type. An attacker able to create database objects can supply a selected non-ctid input, causing the estimator to operate on an arbitrary four-byte memory span. The resulting calculation is imprecise but can permit substantial recovery of values derived from PostgreSQL process memory. PostgreSQL versions before 18.6, 17.11, 16.15, 15.19, and 14.24 are affected.
