CVE-2026-14673 is an untrusted search-path vulnerability in PostgreSQL's amcheck extension. amcheck fails to clear an attacker-controlled search_path when processing affected expression indexes. A role granted EXECUTE privilege on an amcheck function can set a hostile search path before invoking the function, causing resolution and execution of arbitrary functions in the security context of the owner of an affected expression index. PostgreSQL 18 prior to 18.6, 16 prior to 16.15, 15 prior to 15.19, and 14 prior to 14.24 are affected. PostgreSQL 17 is unaffected.
