CVE-2026-15174 is an out-of-bounds write in Wireshark's Catapult DCT2000 protocol dissector, in the E-DCH parsing path of the attach_fp_info() function. The dissector accepted an unbounded no_ddi_entries value from a parsed capture header and used it to index fixed-size DDI and MAC-d PDU-size arrays. A crafted DCT2000 capture can therefore write beyond those arrays and corrupt Wireshark wmem allocator metadata, resulting in a crash. Wireshark 4.6.0 through 4.6.6 and 4.4.0 through 4.4.16 are affected.
