Undici contains an HTTP/1.1 request construction flaw that permits duplicate Content-Length headers to be emitted when headers are supplied through low-level APIs such as undici.request() or undici.Client using flat header arrays with case-variant names. Because header-name handling does not correctly enforce case-insensitive uniqueness for Content-Length, an attacker-controlled input can cause malformed outbound requests containing multiple conflicting Content-Length values on the wire. This violates HTTP/1.1 message framing expectations and can trigger inconsistent parsing behavior between intermediaries and origin servers. In deployments where one component honors one Content-Length value and another component honors a different one, the flaw can be used for HTTP request smuggling. In stricter environments, the malformed request is rejected, resulting in denial of service for affected transactions.
