CVE-2026-15583 is a confused-deputy vulnerability in Grafana MCP Server affecting versions earlier than 0.17.1. The flaw allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to supply a crafted X-Grafana-URL request header that causes the server to send outbound requests to attacker-chosen destinations. In the vulnerable flow, the server can disclose the Grafana service-account token configured in its environment to unintended endpoints, enabling token exfiltration. The same behavior also permits server-side request forgery against arbitrary internal services, including cloud metadata endpoints. The issue is network-exploitable with low attack complexity, requires no privileges or user interaction, and primarily impacts confidentiality.
