The flaw affects the Scheduler Name Handler component, specifically function sub_42537C, where manipulation of the argument a1 can overflow stack memory. The condition indicates insufficient bounds checking on attacker-controlled input processed by this handler. Because the vulnerable code is reachable remotely, a network-based attacker with the required access level can trigger memory corruption in the affected firmware, potentially leading to process crash or control of execution flow. Shibby Tomato is a superseded project and has been replaced by FreshTomato.
