CVE-2026-16098 is a critical arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the ProSolution WP Client plugin for WordPress affecting all versions up to and including 2.0.10. The flaw is in the proSol_handleFileUpload function. The upload logic fails to validate an attacker-controlled filename supplied in the Content-Disposition header, allowing that value to override the allow-listed multipart filename before the file is written to disk. The plugin then performs an extension check only after the file has already been saved, and that post-save validation does not remove the malicious file. In addition, the nonce used to gate access to the upload handler is publicly exposed through wp_localize_script on front-end pages that render the job portal shortcode, allowing unauthenticated visitors to obtain a valid nonce. Together, these weaknesses allow unauthenticated attackers to upload potentially executable files to the server, creating a path to remote code execution.
