CVE-2026-16144 is a remote code execution vulnerability in the Kali Forms — Contact Form & Drag-and-Drop Builder plugin for WordPress affecting all versions up to and including 2.4.20. The flaw is located in the _save_data function and is caused by insufficient validation of the thisPermalink field before it can overwrite a trusted callable placeholder. As a result, attacker-controlled input can be propagated to call_user_func(), enabling execution of unintended code paths on the server. Exploitation is unauthenticated, but it depends on the target form containing a field whose name matches one of the plugin’s reserved placeholder keys, including thisPermalink, entryCounter, or submission_link, because the relevant placeholder-processing logic only handles POST keys present in the form’s field_type_map.
