CVE-2026-17653 is a critical use-after-free vulnerability in the Skia graphics component of Google Chrome prior to version 151.0.7922.72. The flaw can be triggered through crafted HTML content and affects Chrome and Chromium-based builds containing the vulnerable Skia code. Available reporting indicates the vulnerability is exploitable after compromise of the renderer process and may enable a transition from renderer compromise to a broader browser security boundary bypass.
