CVE-2026-2004 is an arbitrary code execution vulnerability in PostgreSQL's intarray extension. The flaw is caused by missing validation of the input type in the extension's selectivity estimator function. An attacker with the ability to create database objects can supply crafted input that reaches the vulnerable estimator logic and trigger execution of arbitrary code in the PostgreSQL server process. The code executes with the privileges of the operating system account running the database server. Affected versions are PostgreSQL 14 through 18 before 14.21, 15.16, 16.12, 17.8, and 18.2.
