CVE-2026-20100 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in the Lua interpreter used by the Remote Access SSL VPN feature of Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software. The flaw is caused by trusting user-supplied input without proper validation in the Lua interpreter. An authenticated remote attacker with a valid VPN connection can exploit the issue by sending crafted HTTP packets to the Remote Access SSL VPN server, causing the affected device to reload unexpectedly. The issue affects the Remote Access SSL VPN feature and does not affect the management or MUS interfaces.
