CVE-2026-20148 is an authenticated remote path traversal vulnerability in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Cisco ISE Passive Identity Connector (ISE-PIC). The flaw is caused by improper validation of user-supplied input in HTTP requests handled by the management interface. An attacker with valid administrative credentials can send a crafted HTTP request that traverses directories on the underlying operating system and reads arbitrary files, including sensitive files accessible to the affected application or system context.
