CVE-2026-20184 is a critical authentication vulnerability in the integration of single sign-on (SSO) with Control Hub in Cisco Webex Services. The flaw is caused by improper certificate validation during the SSO trust and token validation process. Because the service did not correctly validate certificates associated with the authentication flow, a remote attacker could connect to a Webex service endpoint and submit a crafted authentication token that could be accepted as legitimate. Successful exploitation would allow the attacker to impersonate any user within the affected Webex environment and obtain unauthorized access to legitimate Cisco Webex services available to that user.
