CVE-2026-20284 is an authenticated remote SQL injection vulnerability in the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) SXP REST API. Insufficient validation of user-supplied input allows an attacker with valid administrative credentials to submit crafted API input and access or modify the affected device's underlying database. Exploitation requires the SXP service to be enabled and at least one SXP connection to be configured. In single-node deployments, exploitation can also make the ISE node unavailable and disrupt network access for endpoints that have not already authenticated.
