CVE-2026-20320 is a high-severity XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability in the Open Client Interface (OCI) XML Parser of Cisco BroadWorks. The flaw exists because external entity resolution is allowed by default, causing XML input to be parsed unsafely. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit the issue by sending a crafted XML message to the Open Client Interface – Provisioning (OCI-P) service. Successful exploitation can cause the affected system to resolve attacker-supplied external entities and disclose sensitive configuration information or other local files accessible to the Cisco BroadWorks user. The issue has also been described as a blind XXE condition in the OCI parser path.
