CVE-2026-20349 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in the Remote Access SSL VPN service of Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software. The flaw is caused by insufficient error checking during HTTP request processing. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can trigger the issue by sending a crafted HTTP request to the exposed Remote Access SSL VPN service on an affected device. Successful exploitation causes the device to reload unexpectedly, interrupting firewall and VPN operations and producing a denial-of-service condition. Affected exposure is tied to deployments where SSL listen sockets are enabled, including configurations using SSL VPN, IKEv2 Remote Access VPN with client services, and Zero Trust Network Access on FTD devices. Secure Firewall Management Center is not affected.
