A malicious app may have been able to leverage symlink behavior within MigrationKit-related file operations to access user-sensitive data that should not have been exposed. The issue is listed for iOS 26.3, iPadOS 26.3, macOS Sequoia 15.7.4 and 15.7.5, macOS Sonoma 14.8.4 and 14.8.5, and macOS Tahoe 26.3 and 26.4.
