When an F5 BIG-IP Advanced WAF or ASM security policy is configured on a virtual server, certain undisclosed HTTP request(s), in combination with additional conditions beyond the attacker’s control, can trigger termination of the BIG-IP data-plane bd process. This results in a denial-of-service condition due to traffic disruption while the bd process restarts. End-of-Technical-Support (EoTS) versions are not evaluated per the advisory.
