CVE-2026-22732 is a vulnerability in Spring Security affecting servlet-based applications that rely on Spring Security to write configured HTTP response headers using the default lazy header-writing behavior. Under certain conditions, the framework may fail to emit the configured security headers in the HTTP response. Affected versions are Spring Security 5.7.0 through 5.7.21, 5.8.0 through 5.8.23, 6.3.0 through 6.3.14, 6.4.0 through 6.4.14, 6.5.0 through 6.5.8, and 7.0.0 through 7.0.3. The flaw weakens browser-enforced protections that depend on those headers being present, including controls related to caching and other client-side security behavior.
