CVE-2026-22752 is a critical vulnerability in Spring Authorization Server caused by insufficient validation of certain client metadata fields processed by Dynamic Client Registration endpoints when that feature is explicitly enabled. An attacker who can access the registration workflow can submit crafted client metadata during dynamic client creation. Depending on how the authorization server is configured and how the supplied metadata is later consumed, the flaw can enable authentication or authorization control bypass conditions and can also expose downstream attack paths including stored cross-site scripting, server-side request forgery, and privilege escalation. Affected versions are 7.0.0 through 7.0.4, 1.5.0 through 1.5.6, 1.4.0 through 1.4.9, and 1.3.0 through 1.3.10.
