CVE-2026-23573 is a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in Fortinet SSL-VPN functionality affecting FortiOS, FortiPAM, and FortiProxy. The issue is caused by improper neutralization of attacker-controlled input during web page generation, allowing crafted requests to inject script content into server responses. Affected versions include FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.6, all versions of FortiOS 7.4 and 7.2, FortiPAM 1.8.0 and all versions from 1.0 through 1.7, and FortiProxy 7.4.0 through 7.4.3 and 7.2.0 through 7.2.9. The flaw is described as web-facing in SSL-VPN and suitable for delivery through malicious links targeting SSL-VPN users.
