CVE-2026-24317 is a DLL hijacking vulnerability in SAP GUI for Windows. The application allows DLL files to be loaded from arbitrary directories within the application. If GuiXT is enabled, an attacker can abuse this unsafe library search behavior by convincing a victim to place a malicious DLL in one of the directories from which the application may load libraries. When the vulnerable component loads the attacker-controlled DLL, the embedded malicious command executes in the security context of the victim user. The issue is described as having low impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
