CVE-2026-24450 is an integer overflow vulnerability in the uncompressed_fp_dng_load_raw functionality of LibRaw, reported against commit 8dc68e2. The flaw arises from improper handling of integer calculations while processing crafted DNG image data, which can cause a size computation to wrap and result in an undersized heap allocation or otherwise inconsistent buffer sizing. Subsequent operations on the malformed image data can then trigger a heap buffer overflow. The vulnerability is reachable through parsing a specially crafted malicious file and may lead to memory corruption and arbitrary code execution in applications that use the affected LibRaw code path.
