CVE-2026-2473 is a cross-tenant vulnerability in Google Cloud Vertex AI Experiments affecting google-cloud-aiplatform from version 1.21.0 up to, but not including, 1.133.0. The issue arises from predictable Cloud Storage bucket naming used by Vertex AI Experiments. Because the bucket names could be derived in advance and Cloud Storage bucket names are globally unique, an unauthenticated attacker could pre-create the expected bucket in their own tenant before the victim workflow used it. Vertex AI Experiments would then interact with the attacker-controlled bucket, enabling a bucket-squatting condition across tenants. According to the provided content, successful exploitation could lead to cross-tenant remote code execution, model theft, and model poisoning.
