CVE-2026-29063 is a prototype pollution vulnerability in the immutable npm package (Immutable.js), which provides persistent immutable data structures. According to the provided content, affected versions prior to 3.8.3, 4.3.7, and 5.1.5 are vulnerable through the mergeDeep(), mergeDeepWith(), merge(), Map.toJS(), and Map.toObject() APIs. An attacker who can supply crafted input containing special prototype-manipulating properties such as proto can cause pollution of object prototypes during merge or object-conversion operations. This can alter the behavior of subsequently created or returned objects and undermine application assumptions about object integrity and property resolution.
