CVE-2026-29114 affects some Dahua products, including product lines referenced in Dahua advisory DHCC-SA-202606-001 such as IP cameras, PTZ cameras, NVRs, and other hardware. The vulnerability allows an attacker to obtain the device’s CA root certificate. If that CA certificate is installed and trusted on client systems, the attacker could use it to issue fraudulent certificates that those clients would accept as valid, thereby undermining the certificate trust chain. Based on the available information, this is an exposure of sensitive cryptographic trust material rather than a memory corruption or code execution flaw.
