CVE-2026-3062 is a high-severity memory-safety vulnerability in Tint, the WebGPU shader compiler used by Google Chrome on macOS. In Chrome versions prior to 145.0.7632.116, a remote attacker could trigger both out-of-bounds read and out-of-bounds write conditions by causing the browser to process crafted HTML content that reaches the vulnerable Tint code path. Because the flaw includes an out-of-bounds write in a graphics and shader-processing component, successful exploitation can corrupt memory and potentially influence control flow within the browser process. The issue is reachable through malicious web content and is associated with remote out-of-bounds memory access.
