CVE-2026-31843 is a critical remote code execution vulnerability in the goodoneuz/pay-uz Laravel package affecting versions up to and including 2.2.24. The flaw is in the payment editable update API endpoint, which is exposed through a route that accepts arbitrary HTTP methods and is not protected by authentication middleware. As a result, remote attackers can reach the endpoint without credentials. The vulnerable code writes attacker-controlled input directly into existing PHP payment hook files using file write operations. Those hook files are subsequently loaded and executed during normal payment processing through PHP include semantics, turning the file overwrite primitive into reliable unauthenticated remote code execution under default application behavior.
