CVE-2026-32259 is a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in ImageMagick's sixel encoder. In versions prior to 7.1.2-16 and 6.9.13-41, a memory allocation failure in the sixel encoding path is not handled safely, making it possible to write past the end of a stack buffer. The flaw can be triggered during processing of image data that reaches the vulnerable encoder logic, and may allow an attacker to corrupt stack memory. The issue is corrected in ImageMagick 7.1.2-16 and 6.9.13-41.
