CVE-2026-33870 is an HTTP request-smuggling vulnerability in Netty HTTP/1.1 handling. Netty versions before 4.1.132.Final and 4.2.10.Final incorrectly parse quoted strings in chunked transfer-encoding extension values. A specially crafted chunked request can therefore be interpreted inconsistently by Netty and an upstream or downstream HTTP component, allowing request-boundary desynchronization.
