CVE-2026-37978 is an information disclosure vulnerability in Keycloak affecting the Admin API evaluate-scopes endpoints. A low-privilege administrator assigned the view-clients role can invoke these endpoints with an arbitrary user identifier in the userId parameter and retrieve information about users outside the administrator’s authorized scope. The flaw results from insufficient authorization enforcement on user-specific access within the evaluate-scopes functionality, allowing cross-role exposure of personally identifiable information and authorization data across the realm. Exploitation is possible remotely over the network through access to the Keycloak Admin API.
