CVE-2026-3872 is an information disclosure vulnerability in Keycloak caused by improper validation of redirect URIs in the OpenID Connect authorization flow. When a client configuration uses wildcard-based allowed redirect URIs, an attacker who controls another path on the same web server can bypass the intended path restriction by using path traversal semantics involving a crafted redirect URI. This allows the authorization endpoint to accept a redirect target outside the intended allowed path while still appearing to match the wildcard rule. The flaw affects redirect URI validation logic rather than token generation itself, and can result in authorization responses being sent to an attacker-controlled endpoint on the same host.
