CVE-2026-39364 is an unauthenticated file-disclosure vulnerability in the Vite development server affecting versions 7.1.0 through 7.3.1 and 8.0.0 through 8.0.4. The development server's filesystem route can return files that match configured server.fs.deny restrictions when attackers append specific asset-handling query-parameter combinations to a request. The deny-list check is thereby bypassed and the server returns the restricted file with an HTTP 200 response, provided the file is otherwise within a directory permitted by server.fs.allow.
