CVE-2026-39405 is a path traversal vulnerability in Frappe Learning Management System (LMS) versions 2.50.0 and earlier. During SCORM ZIP package handling, LMS uses a course chapter title controlled by a user with course-editing privileges as part of the archive extraction destination without adequate path sanitization. Traversal sequences in the title can cause archive contents to be written outside the intended public-assets directory, permitting overwrite of application files and enabling remote code execution.
