CVE-2026-40126 is a DOM-based cross-site scripting vulnerability in OutSystems Service Center affecting versions prior to 11.41.2. The flaw can be exploited by a low-privileged attacker through the upload workflow by supplying a file whose filename contains malicious JavaScript code. The vulnerable condition exists in locations where a file can be attached and prepared for upload to the server, indicating that untrusted filename data is incorporated into client-side page logic or rendering without proper neutralization. Successful exploitation results in attacker-controlled script execution in the browser context of a user interacting with the affected interface.
