CVE-2026-41703 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability affecting VMware ESX/ESXi, VMware Workstation, and VMware Fusion. A malicious actor with virtual machine deployment privileges can trigger the flaw and cause the affected software to read memory outside the intended bounds. In ESX/ESXi, successful exploitation can result in information disclosure and, more likely, a denial-of-service condition in the host process. In VMware Workstation and VMware Fusion, the impact is limited to information disclosure. No evidence of in-the-wild exploitation was reported at the time of disclosure.
